Norway–Latvia farm friends

A network for cooperation, cultural experiences and friendship between family farms in Norway and Latvia.

Jēru klubs (the Lamb Club) is a family farm in Latvia with around 70 ewes. We are engaged in sheep farming, rural tourism, traditional cooking and preserving and promoting Latvian crafts and cultural traditions.

We are now looking for partners — family farms in Norway that would like to build long-term relationships across borders.

What do we want?

Our goal is to create a network of family farms where we can inspire each other, share experience and visit each other regularly. The cooperation may include:

  • visiting each other's farms;
  • exchanging experience in sheep farming and running a farm;
  • getting to know local food culture and traditions;
  • exchanging experience in culture and rural tourism;
  • developing new ideas and joint projects;
  • building lasting friendships between families with similar values.

What can we offer?

With us you can experience real rural life in Latvia.
We invite you to our farm to get to know Latvian hospitality, traditional cuisine, sheep farming, wool crafts and everyday life in the Latvian countryside.
In return, we would like to learn from your experience and get to know Norwegian rural life, culture and nature better.
We believe that cooperation between small family farms creates valuable experiences, new knowledge and lasting friendships.

Get in touch!

If this idea appeals to you, we would be happy to hear from you. We are open both to a friendly conversation and to discussing concrete ideas for cooperation.
